The wedding itself will not be in Playa Del Carmen, but instead just outside Tulum, just a short trip further south (see MAP of the Yucatan). We have picked a special place that is both remote and rustic, on the beach in an eco-resort called "LaZebra".

Please understand, we will be providing transportation for everyone to this location, and based on the number of people who come, we may need to arrange a couple mini-bus trips with LiahonaQuest. LaZebra is located just outside Tulum along the oceanso we will need to get you down there.

Wedding Ceremony & Location: LaZebra, Tulum, MX

Our wedding ceremony will be on a private Caribbean beach, oceanside at LaZebra in Tulum, MX. This eco-resort is located just 40 miles south of Playa del Carmen (where everyone will stay). Tulum itself is both remote, accessible, and non-commercialized. This secluded cabana resort is set upon white corral sands of the Yucatan and has miles of untouched beaches. You will not see any commercial buildings, but instead you will see ocean-side cabanas found only off the beaten track for those who like to 'get away' from it all.

When you are at LaZebra we will have a couple cabanas booked, using them as a change area, as well as a place for people to put your belongings. Please remember, there is no air-conditioning, but you will be on the ocean. If you want to arrange to stay in one of the cabanas that night, we will need to know well in advance as this will be Christmas Eve.

We will suggest people bring a change of clothes, and if you want to make a day trip out of it, we can get you there nice and early. Take your time; go for a stroll along the beach. Stretch out in a hammock in the ocean side restaurant and have a nice, cold cervesa.
