We thought that we would use this page to help all
our guests understand a little more about us. If you
would like to post something special, please do so in
our guestbook. Below you will find some brief details
on how we met and some of the other interesting facts
we share. Enjoy.
How They Met
==========
|
-
|
Dan
and Amanda first met briefly on July 1st, 1999 on
Canada Day |
|
-
|
Andre
"Onj" and Debbie "Deb"
later more formally introduced the both of
them together |
|
-
|
Amanda
worked with both Onj and Deb in the past at different
jobs. Amanda knew Deb from skiing where they competed
head-on, yet remained friends until this day. |
|
-
|
Ironically,
Dan went to high school with Onj and knew him for
several years. Onj knew both Darryl (Dan's brother)
and Dan and was better known as "the guy who
came over to eat lasagna" all the time. |
|
... so the story goes... Dan & Amanda shared
a number of common friends, grew up in the same
area, yet never officially met...
|
|
-
|
Later
on as fate had it, both Dan and Amanda worked together
for more than 2 years in an Internet company
and had been dating for more than 3 years when they
finally got engaged! |
|
-
|
Much
to Amanda's surprise (as she believed he was a 'late
bloomer'), Dan got down on one knee early on Christmas
morning and asked Amanda to marry him. They were
officially engaged December 25th 2002 at sunrise
on the beach, in Tulum, MX |
|
-
|
As
the schedule shows, they will be getting married
in an exotic, rustic yet formal, barefoot wedding
on December 24th 2003 on the same vary beach where
they were engaged! |
